A. Being by asking if the guests have read the flyer/brief. Then talk briefly
about the company and you can also play the "Making the Difference" DVD
or you can access the video from www.maxcast.com/nuskinenterprises
and click on "Making the Difference" - great information on Nu Skin Enterprises -
(Note: This video is great if you are doing demonstration for business
prospects, if you are just doing demo for customers, you can skip the video).
You can mention the following regarding the company:-
- Nu Skin Enterprises started in 1984, so it has been around for 24 years;
- the philosophy behind Nu Skin was only using skin beneficial
ingredients (not harmful ingredients) and their motto 'all of the
good, none of the bad';
- No oil (waterbased products);
- No harsh alcohols
- pH balanced
and lubricating.
Pass around the 2 glass jars of apricots, explaining the one in Baby Oil
(Mineral Oil) has done nothing to the apricot, it has just sealed
the surface with oil and no moisture can get in. The other apricot,
as you can see, has puffed up. This is because it is in this product
(hold up Moisture Mist) which has an ingredient called NaPCA.
This is a Humectant- which are like water magnets and draw
moisture to itself, thus drawing moisture to the skin hydrating
the surface removing all lines & wrinkles.

D. Continue reading from the flipchart, explaining about the Galvanic Spa.
Stop after Slide 10 which explains the 3 interchangeable heads. Then
explain that you are going to do a demonstration on someone.
E. How to choose your Galvanic Spa Model?
Decide on your model by smiling =) at the person you would like to do the
Galvanic on and invite them to come and be your model.
- It is best to choose someone who is mature (over 25) and has an older skin.
Best not to choose someone too overweight since the result is more difficult.
If you choose a man, choose someone who is clean shaven.
- If you do choose a younger person work a lot around the eye and above the
eyebrows. There are always some wrinkles around the eyes and the Galvanic
Spa has excellent results around the eye area.
-Always use a straight backed chair for better visibility.
- Follow the ‘How to do a Demo – Simple Steps’ to know how to correctly conduct
a Galvanic Demo on someone. Refer to document.
Note: It is important that while you are doing the demonstration that you keep
in control of the presentation. As the host reads from the flipchart, make sure
you interject with comments or explain what you are currently doing with the
Galvanic. This keeps you linked in with the speaker.
F. Get the host to help you by reading from the flip chart. “Can you help me by
reading the next few pages from this book.” Do not arrange this beforehand –
just casually ask them to read the explanation of the Galvanic Spa. This way
this person is already making a presentation without realising it and any anxiety
they may have in the future about presenting is already overcome. They would
continue from the Flipchart starting at Slide 11 through to Slide 31 (finishing on
Nutriol before & after photo).
G. Ask the model “Do you feel anything”? - Often people don’t but occasionally
someone may get a metallic taste in the mouth from their fillings and sometimes
they feel a tingling on the skin. We know it is working because it peeps every 20
seconds. We certainly know it has worked when we look in the mirror at the end.
“The negative current opens the pores and the negative gel attaches itself to
impurities in the skin”.
H. If there are any questions that come up answer them if it is appropriate. However
it is sometimes easier to say “Good question, I’ll answer it later.” And let the host
finish reading from the FlipChart.
- If the group consists of approx 5 people do 1 half face - with 10 people you treat
2 because this creates more enthusiasm and certainty about the results.
You can easily treat 2 people in 1 hour.
- It is best to wait a little bit before showing the person the result. After 10
minutes the effect is even more pronounced. So don’t worry if the host is
still reading from the flipchart when you have finished –it gives the Galvanic
time to work its magic on the skin!
I. Once the Host has finished their part of the Flipchart, then you can answer any
questions etc (even if you are still finishing off the demo).Once the demo is finished
then let the person know that you are going to wait 10 minutes before everyone looks
at the result. While you are waiting you can go over the remainder of the flipchart -

7) Once the 10 minutes resting time is up, then show the guests
the result.
Pass the mirror to the model and let them have a good look in the mirror. Get the
guests to move in closer. Then get a blank piece of A4 paper and cover up the
galvanic side of the face so they are only looking at the untreated side of the face -
point out the wrinkles around the eyes etc (don’t be too harsh in your words!), then
switch the paper over to coverup the other side of the face and point out how the
wrinkles have diminished. Repeat this showing the cheek lines, size of pores, forehead
lines etc. Ask them what they see - let them point out the changes, so thatthey are
selling it to themselves and you aren’t doing a sales pitch. Ask theperson if their face
feels different? Get them to pinch both cheeks slightly at same time – one will feel firmer
and toned.
Almost everyone notices a difference in pore size, texture, and notices one side of
the face is lifted. They will describe big differences in the way their skin feels.
Others will notice the differences also – usually the eye appears more open and
lifted and the face looks “ironed”. Then get the model to have a good critical look
in the mirror.
1. Pinch a little bit in the cheek and show the difference in elasticity
between the more flaccid skin of the non-treated part & the much
firmer, tighter skin of the treated part.
2. The treated cheek is usually far more lifted than the other side
3. The pores are much smaller around the nose, chin & cheek
4. The lines from the nose to the mouth are reduced – an area of
concern for people.
5. The bags & sacks under the eyes are reduced.
6. The wrinkles under and next to the eyes are less pronounced.
7. The wrinkles on the forehead are less obvious (often 50% reduced!)
The first treatment gives continued results during the next 1-3 days
and ingredients applied during this time are utilized more effectively

Now you ask:

Take down the details of people who would like that and then take the

Question 2: How do I use it?
At this point if someone is obviously intending to purchase one you
can briefly explain usage: ie. Remove plastic when you buy it, it comes
with a battery installed, moisten hand when using and hold the metal
area. Make sure they understand that if they do it on someone else they
need to have a damp hand on their body to complete the circuit so the
Galvanic can work. Also do not be concerned if there is some redness
where the hand is placed – it is just an increase in circulation and will
fade in a few minutes.
This is also a good time to quickly show how you run the galvanic over
your own face to show how easy it is to do on yourself.
